Quick bit of background for anyone who’s not aware of the set up:

From 2016/2017 onwards, the U21 Premier League became known as Premier League 2 and the age limit increased from under-21 to under-23. Clubs are still permitted to field 4 over age players

The competition is split into two divisions of 13 clubs, with promotion and relegation between each, two up two down. Clubs in Premier League 2 can also compete in the Premier League Cup, the Premier League International Cup and the EFL Trophy, which is restricted to under-21 players.

Nb: Sheffield United are currently the only current Premier League club not to have submitted a team.
